Bophelo Pele was funded by USAID through Anova Health Institute to perform HTS services in Region G and region D of the City of Johannesburg region in 2019 and 2020. Bophelo Pele was part of the previous financial year’s program, but it is in the 2019/2020 program year that we really excelled. Reaching our target in all quarters except those interrupted by COVID Lockdowns!
In fact we reached more than our target and overshot to 105% of our target.
We keep on improving our systems and activities and hope to achieve even better results in our next HTS project. Bophelo is able to do Clinic-based as well as Community-based HTS programs.
